I recently began a course of study in Christian philosophy and apologetics with Trinity Theological Seminary in Evansville, Indiana. I wanted to explore the hard questions and the answers Christianity can provide.
I also felt a nagging sense of guilt that I'm not doing enough to share my faith. I don't feel equipped to give answers to others. There are many things I struggle with, including the pervasive problem of evil.
What I've learned so far is that apologetics is doable. It just means giving a rational defense. And Christianity is defensible.
I still don't have all the answers, but I'm working on finding them. I'll be sharing what I find, because I believe apologetics is a huge tool in providing hope to those who desperately need it.
I believe every Christian has reasons for her belief. You may not know how to articulate why or what you believe, but with practice, you can present rational apologetic information.
